In our lives we can sometimes feel like we are alone. We have no one to lean on and we don't have an ear that will hear our cry. In our alone time we are enlightened to the Presence of God. When all is still and silence pierces our hearts the voice of God speaks to us. We are present in His Presence. No longer are we in search of God but rather awakened to the understanding that He is always with us. When no one else is there He is there. When the trials of life surround us His Light directs us into peace and love. We are liberated to know that whatever we go through we are not alone but God is here with us.
"Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every an to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me." John 16:32
When Jesus was about to be crucified He knew that all His disciples would leave Him while He suffered and was nailed to the Cross. No one was there with Him but He knew that His Father was everpresent. The Presence of God can get us through anything. Take courage and know that when there is no one to lean on you can lean on God.
