Divided we fall united we stand is a slogan that many businesses believe in. Yesterday my wife asked me a question that stirred my spirit. She asked "what is the purpose of the letter q? It can not make a word without being with the letter u. U can make words without the letter q but q must be combined with u for it to be used."
Wow!! As I pondered on the letter q I began to identify with it. Without Christ being in my life, my life is without meaning. It is impossible for me to create a word without Him being connected to me. So many times I have failed in life trying to make something out of myself. Trying to fit in, Trying to make a name for myself. As I continued to fall short I found out that I could not make a name without Christ. I could not create anything that would last without Him.
My prosperity comes from my dependence to His presence in my life. Without His presence I am alone, out of place, confused, misunderstood, unappreciated, and hopeless. With Him I am filled with purpose, passion, love, joy, peace, and happiness. I am alive through Him and dead without Him. He is the true source of my life.
God has created us with a purpose and we can only fulfill our divine purpose when we are attached to Him. If you are looking for a partner, a friend, a companion, a parent look no further than Christ. He is what we need to being meaning to our lives. Accept that you can't make it without Him. Do not resist the Lord through pride but confess your need for God and allow God to fill your heart with love. He is your lifesource and He is ready to bring meaning to you. Open the door and let Him in. God bless you.
