Blessings that overflow

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalms 127:3

Today is father's day. I have been blessed with five beautiful children and one on the way. The thing is I did not asked for my children they were given to me by God. After having two boys I thought that was enough but God gave us a baby girl. Then when I thought my life was complete He gave us another baby girl. With two boys and two girls I just knew that was it then He gave us another son. "I was like God, You got jokes" After my son came I just surrendered my thinking and plans to God.lol. I don't know what I would do if they were not in my life. I have grown as a person just by them being in my life. With five children it is hard to remain selfish. My desire is to see them happy and taken care of. If God would have told me I was going to have six children in the span of 8 years I would have passed on that. I thank God that He did not consult me but given me exactly what I needed. They are gifts that continue to appreciate and they touch my heart in a way that provokes me to become a better person. They are my ministry and I love them dearly. If you have an opportunity to spend time with children do it. They can renew your passion to live and grow. For children are blessings that overflow.
