Sifting process

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22:31-32

This scripture was brought to my mind this afternoon. Satan wanted Simon.  Satan got Simon but Jesus prayed for Simon that he would still believe even though he was with Satan.

Have you ever felt like God has left you in the hands of Satan and begin to doubt if God was real or loved you?  I have.  The sifting process is never easy.  Nothing seems to be going your way.  It seems as though every aspect of your life is being tested and what you believed to be true you are tempted to doubt.   Satan actually is sifting/stripping the things in your life that will not profit you.  When the sifting process is over the person you are transformed in to will be able to strengthen those around you.  Your life will inspire so many people when you are transformed if you hold on to your faith.  Don't let go of your dreams, purpose, gifts because it seems they will never happen.  Keep believing and trusting in God for your journey will give hope to others that come behind you.

  1. Good Morning E'yen,
There have been times in my life, more often than not, where I felt God left me with Satan to deal with me. When I first began to notice, I did doubt God and whether He really loved me, but, as I got older, I realized that God left me with Satan because He loved me. Because He wanted to make me better than I was, but it was still hard.
In fact, I feel like I'm going through one of those times right now. To combat, I'm trying to build a strong prayer life and keep an open communication with God. I know God hasn't left me. I know He's still there, and I know, in the end, I'll be better than I was before.
