Make me Free

31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:31-32,36


When God speaks truth into our lives we have a choice to make. Will we allow His truth to mold us and change us or will we continue to do what we are doing? So many times I have heard God tell me something but I did not want to change. I did not want to accept the truth. Not understanding that God spoke to me to free me not bind me. God wants us to be liberated in Him. He wants us to live in liberty but if we don't listen to Him we will never experience liberty. I have been a slave to my routines, habits, and thoughts for too long and I refuse to live bound anymore. I want to grow in Christ and live in the freedom that He has promised me. We must be made free by His Word and Presence. As we stand confronted by His Truth let us allow His truth to free us. Don't resist the truth but embrace it. God bless you.
