16But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
17Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. Luke 18:16-17
My children believe I am the strongest man in the world. There is nothing that they don't think I can do. They believe when they are hungry that I will feed them. When they are afraid they believe I am going to protect them. When they are sick they believe I will comfort them. Whatever the problem or situation they believe that their parents hold the solution. They are dependant on us (mom and dad) to supply their needs. No matter how strong they believe I am they also believe Jesus is stronger. They pray and believe that Jesus will heal and protect their bodies. They don't doubt God at all. They know in their little minds and hearts that God hears them and will help them. They know that God helps them in school and that He has given them talents and gifts. They are never afraid to talk to Him.
Where is our childlike faith?
Who has corrupted our minds to think that our circumstances are greater than our God? We have been polluted by satan to think that God does not want to be bothered with us. We have been hindered from the presence of God by our fears and doubts. We have struggled with the circumstances of life waiting for a change to come our way but nothing comes.
Today is our day to enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus has put His foot on the neck of satan and He has called for us to come to Him. Jesus is not asking for us to come as an adult that knows everything but as a child that will believe in Him no matter what situation comes our way. He has a place for us in His kingdom but we must come as we are, believing that God is worthy of all the Glory and Honor.
A child does not know everything but they are not afraid to ask their father. They might not know how to do everything but they are not afraid to ask for help from their father. A child has no pride in what they can do but in what their father can do. Our confidence should be in what God can do not what we can do. Jesus is waiting on us to come to Him seeking the presence of our Father. Seeking His guidance, love, and strength. My oldest son has a scripture hanging over his bed that reads. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. My son believes will we? God bless you.

Drawn by a Cross
32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33This he said, signifying what death he should die. John 12:32-33
This is an amazing passage that is misused by many believers. We say in our churches if we speak about Christ then He will draw all men to Himself. Our words about Christ does not draw alone. Our sacrificial lives in Christ draws men to come to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ wants the world to see what He has done for them. He wants men to come back to God. So Jesus Christ was lifted up from the earth; hung on a cross at Calvary so that whoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2
Jesus our example wants to perform the same act in us. We might not die on a physical cross like He did but we must die daily so that the life of Christ can be seen through us. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
When our lives are lifted up in sacrifice unto God then our lives through our death can draw men to God. We must take up our cross and follow Him. What is the cross for? And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:24 It is for us to crucify our flesh so that God's spirit may resurrect us to a newness of life in Him. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Romans 6:6 People will not be drawn to God through words but through a life that exhibits the love of God. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
In this day let us turn to God and allow Him to align us to His will. We are destined for greatness and there is nothing greater than laying down our lives so that others may see Christ and live. Let us decrease so that Christ can increase and He will draw the all men/women back to God. God bless you.
