I watched the movie the Labyrinth yesterday. If you have not seen the movie before here is what was written on the back cover of the dvd.
"Babysitting infant stepbrother Toby on a weekend night isn't young Sarah's idea of fun. Frustrated by his crying, she secretly imagines the Goblins from her favorite book, Labyrinth, carrying Toby away. When her fantasy comes true, a distraught Sarah must enter a maze of illusion to bring Toby back from a kingdom inhabited by mystical creatures and governed by the wicked Goblin King."
In the movie the young girl goes through this maze that seems impossible to solve. She falls into traps, she is continually attacked by the Goblin King but through it all she makes it through the maze to the castle where her stepbrother is. When she goes to get him she enter another maze of stairways and can't seem to get to her brother. Then she does the unthinkable she jumps off the stair falling seemingly to the bottom of the maze and when she gets there the Goblin King stands in front of her but now she is not afraid of him and she says something that was so profound "You don't have power over me" Once those words are uttered. The Goblin King's spell is destroyed and she is back at home with her brother.
The Revelation inside the "Labyrinth" is that satan does not have power over us. Satan is like the Goblin King he wants us to fight through the maze of circumstance. He wants us to live according to his rules. As long as he can keep us in the maze we will be ignorant to what God has already done for us. Through Jesus Christ there is no power that is greater than Him. Jesus is greater than our problems and Satan can not rule us for he has no authority over us. We are Christ's and in Him we are empowered to live above the illusions of the enemy. Satan will not stop but we must realize he has no power over us. When we live according to the power of God which is through Jesus Christ, the enemy must take his hands off of us. It is time to come out of the maze and put the enemy in his place "satan you have no power over me". "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." I John 3:8 When we begin to believe God the enemy can not have power over us. Our faith in Jesus puts the enemy in place. Trust and Believe God and watch God work supernaturally in your life. God bless you.

Thank God
Today is a new beginning. This is my 101st blog and I am so thankful that God has given me the opportunity to share my heart with Him and others.
Many times we can get caught up in what we don't have that we miss the blessings that we do possess. One thing right now is "I need more money. I have more bills than I do income, if I could just have more money I would be okay." We are so focused on the "more" that we miss that we have "money". We are so focused on the "bigger" that we miss that we have a "house". What we do have or don't have is that our real problem it is just a distraction that the enemy uses to block us from seeing what God has already given us. As I woke up today God revealed to me that the little things produce big results.
READ John 6:5-13

READ John 6:5-13
When Jesus saw the multitude and wanted to feed them. His disciples looked at their lack and saw no way to help the crowd with their need. The disciples we so focused on the crowd that they could not see the provision. A young boy had two fish and five loaves of bread. Think about that for a moment. That is a lot of food for a man nevertheless a young boy. To the boy he was given up a lot. To the disciples because of the five thousand people it was nothing. Jesus took what they had and thanked God for what was given. By having a thankful spirit God took the "little" and produced enough food to feed the five thousand and have 12 baskets full of excess food. When we thank God for what we do have God performs miracles before our eyes. The enemy wants us to concentrate on our lack but God wants us to see what He has given us and be thankful. When we are thankful it opens the door to receive more of God. Thank God for everything and watch the Hand of God work through your life. God bless you.
